In 1992, she started her acting journey as a child artist with TV srerial ‘Sister Nivedita’ and then she grabbed many roles in Bengali films as a child artist such as ‘Pita Mata Santan (1997)’, ‘Dus Number Bari (1997)’, ‘Sagarkanya’, etc.

In 2003, she made her acting debut Bengali film Chokher Bali as an actress and in Bollywood cinema Parineeta in 2005.

Then her turning point was came in 2009-2015, when she was grabbed the lead role in TV serial ‘Uttaran’ in which she played the role ‘Iccha Bharti Singh Bundela’ and aired on Colors’ TV channel and side by side she also played role in serial Koi Aane Ko Hai as Paromita.

She also got chance to feature in various famous shows including “Comedy Circus (2009)”, “Comedy Nights with Kapil (2013)”, “Comedy Nights Bachao (2016)” and “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 (2014).”
